MOTIVATING
When I see students succeed, and other inspiring educators showing their passion for what they do, it motivates me to strive in inspiring others around me by leading by example in higher education and by creating ways for students to celebrate and have fun while learning!

INNOVATING

TEXAS HISTORY
In this course we will be exploring the history of Texas from natural Texas and its people; as we look at human and physical geography to contemporary Texas and its government system. We will be using a variety of resources to incorporate technology along with classroom instruction. We will focus on individual instruction with technology integration along with collaboration in small groups, and teacher small group instruction.

JACKSON VIKING LIFE
Life at Jackson is truly always a great experience. Days go by fast when you love what you do!

The Jackson History Department put together the first school wide interactive museum where students were able to showcase what they have learned through out the year in a display that included World Cultures, Texas History, and U.S. History along with technology, games, acting music, etc. The entire student body participated by voting on their favorite display and were required to visit ten stations and completing a reflection form on their experience.
